Want a career in accounting and finance?
This will appeal to students who want to be fully qualified accountants with a particularly strong understanding of the financial services industry's institutional structures and products. Graduates will be able to either work as accountants in the finance industry, or as financial analysts, providing investment advice, based on reviews of financial statements of potential investees. Briefly, topics include, accounting, corporations law, tax law, pricing a range of financial instruments, such as shares and debentures, as well as derivatives, risk management techniques, credit assessment and managing risks in financial services firms.
